Functional Medicine Academy, Inc. et al (FMA) shares your concerns about privacy on the Internet. In order to better protect your privacy, FMA has provided this notice explaining its online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the information that FMA collects on its websites, www.TheDrZ.com, www.TheFunctionalMedicineAcademy.com, www.functionalmedicineacademy.vipmembervault.com(“Website”) and does not apply to information that FMA may collect by any alternative means or media.

At some point, FMA may use the information that is not personally identifiable (“Aggregate Data”) to improve the design and content of the Website and to enable FMA to personalize your online experience. FMA may use the Aggregate Data to analyze Website usage as well as create services and/or products to fit your needs. Children:

The Website is not intended for children under the age of 18. FMA does not knowingly collect personal information from users under 18 years of age. In the event that FMA becomes aware that it has collected personal information from a user under 18 years of age, it will take steps to delete such information from its database.

A request may be made no more than once per calendar year and we are not required to respond to requests made by means other than through the email address above.

Opt Out:
You may choose not to receive marketing materials or advertisements regarding FMA products by simply notifying FMA directly at Team@TheDrZ.com or at 1-888-767-8477. Upon receipt and processing of an “opt out” request, FMA will, within a commercially reasonable amount of time, remove your information from any future unsolicited marketing communications and advertisements. Your request not to receive marketing materials or advertisements will not apply to information that you request to receive.

Security, No Liability:

FMA has implemented security measures to help protect against the risk of loss, misuse, and alteration of any information under FMA’s control. Nevertheless, such security measures may not prevent all loss, misuse, or alteration of information on the Website, and FMA is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to any such security failures. Although FMA takes reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of any visitor information collected, we shall have no liability for disclosure of any visitor information obtained due to errors in transmission or the unauthorized acts of third parties.
